The Religious Liberty Commission (RLC) of the National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka conducted a series of workshops to address problems faced with regard to the right the student has to express his or her faith in school. Much of the confusion surrounding the subject was resolved through one of the presentations made during the workshop that addressed how one should respond to violations ranging from school admissions being refused on the basis of religion, to penalty or punishment for the non-observance of religious rituals or practices that are not according to his or her belief.
