In May 2021, the NCEASL and our relief and development arm, the Alliance Development Trust (ADT), initiated the ‘SAVE LIVES’ campaign to meet the shortage of vital medical equipment and to support our healthcare system to combat the rapid rise of COVID-19 in the country.
Today (27th of August), we handed over six 05L Oxygen Concentrators, two 10L Oxygen Concentrators, two High Nasal Oxygen Therapy devices and six Oximeters to the Hon. Dr. (Mrs.) Sudarshani Fernandopulle, the State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID Disease Control at the Ministry of Health. State Minister, Hon. (Mr.) Arundika Fernando, M.P., was also present at this event.
Following this we intend to donate vital medical equipment to the healthcare facilities in the Northern region.
We want to thank all our generous supporters who made this possible. As we face these challenging times, we continue to pray for our nation, our healthcare workers, those on the frontlines and all those affected by this crisis.
